In Fall of 2022 a client asked if I could build an art piece trailer to support her flower business. I immediately said yes. Now in fall of 2023, it's a reality.

Shorty was my muse for the 2022 summer and she became a really cool sauna at the end of 2023.  Though she is a legal trailer, she's meant to be stay mostly parked now and just make folks smile, and sweat. We've enjoyed using her until she sold in December.  You can read more here. 

This client loved to spend time on her porch but it had rotted away and damaged her house in the process. We took the basic layout and added function and whimsy. In the build process I found the arc of the sun in this location was the key element so we reflected it in the shape of the pergola and skirts. 

I had the honor of working with Eva Goetz to create a series of VERY BIG interactive robot sculptures.  They were on exhibit in Portland, ME but have since been adopted by Brown University, by their Computer Science department and are currently heading to Mines College in Colorado. I guess they really made an impact!  Check them out on Eva's site here. 

This simple porch had begun to fail structurally but had great potential. After making it solid we integrated an internal metal roofing to highlight it's framing and give a very unique charecter to it on the inside. Outside we chose cedar trim with a simple but modern design which faded to a natural grey. 

The request was for a refuge in the woods, office, bedroom, massage therapy studio, etc, in a small footprint. We built up with a loft and under with a work nook and storage. Well insulated and lots of glass. This came together beautifully. 

I don't typically deliver this far from home but when an old friend asked for a bar that worked flawlessly but looked like it washed up on the beach, I couldn't say no.  This also included a tribute to Stephen King and Valentino Rossi.
